somatic healing

Personalized somatic work helps you develop tools that work for YOU.

Your body holds profound wisdom about what you need to feel safe, grounded, and alive. In our sessions, we'll work together to help you access that wisdom, complete stuck stress cycles, and build the capacity to respond rather than react to whatever life brings your way.

Transform How You Relate to Discomfort & Stress

This isn't standard talk therapy.

Trauma isn't what happens to us—it's how your body responds to a situation. When your fight flight response doesn't complete its natural cycle, trauma occurs as stuck energy in your system.

These sessions help you:

repair interrupted stress cycles

that may be showing up as anxiety, depression, or chronic tension

Build capacity and resilience

to be with discomfort without being overwhelmed by it

Develop body awareness

to recognize what your nervous system is communicating

Create conscious choice

in how you respond to challenging situations

The goal isn't to eliminate difficult feelings—it's to develop the tools to navigate them with more ease and resiliency.

Ongoing Coaching (75 minutes)

Each session is tailored to what's alive for you that day. We might work with breathing patterns, body awareness, movement that helps stuck energy find completion, or integration practices for your daily life.

  • "There was a strong sense of connection within the group, leading to ease and comfort in opening up easily. I found the session left me feeling comfortable and relaxed after bringing forward some issues to work on. I'm forever working on my evolution as a strong, loving and independent woman in my personal and professional life."

From my professional experience as a facilitator, I value her ability to respond in ways that provide information to new, experienced, and veteran participants. It's a true talent to keep a disparate group of individuals engaged, supported, and challenged."

  • "Making time to relax and focus on my body sensations is not something I do on my own. Having a great guide and safe space to explore this is very helpful. Understanding Somatic Experiencing for myself and seeing how I can benefit from this technique has been significant."

A Fellow Traveler's Approach

this journey is merciful.

In spite of the fact I lived most of my life disconnected from my body, my body still showed up. This alone is merciful. The forgetting and numbing my body did on my behalf helped me navigate impossible situations I didn’t have the skills to survive on my own. It acted on my behalf in ways I didn’t understand or appreciate.

Completing training in Somatic Experiencing (SEP) and Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP) combines neuroscience, biology, and body oriented psychotherapy, to release bound energy and repair connections between the body, emotions, thoughts, and spirit. Impacting health, relationship, and behavior.

Practical tools that work in your real life, not just in sessions

My practice is grounded in deep listening, meeting you in this moment with whatever is here, gentle guidance that honors your body’s wisdom, and helping you build sustainable tools for daily life.

What You're Wondering

  • Therapists do incredible work processing past experiences and diagnosing mental health conditions.

Somatic healing coaching instead gives you practical tools to listen to your body in this moment. These tools can help you discharge energy that comes up. This attunement expands capacity for navigating future challenges. In my experience celebrating the little wins feels celebratory.

Therapy is often ongoing, whereas coaching can be once, multiple times, or whenever you could use support.

  • Not at all. This work supports anyone wanting to live with more ease, confidence, and authentic expression. We all have stress responses that could benefit from completion and integration. Trauma takes many shapes and isn’t always obvious. Mine wasn’t. These can add up during childhood and are often found in our most significant relationships. But these hurts build up over time and erode a person’s self worth. There’s not anyone who hasn’t experienced some kind of rupture and the good news is we have the power to find wisdom in it and repair.

  • That's completely normal and exactly where we start. Part of this work is gently learning to notice and interpret your body's signals without pressure or judgment.

  • This varies greatly from person to person. Some clients find significant relief in just a few sessions, while others work with me regularly for ongoing support. We'll check in regularly about what feels right for you.

  • Absolutely. Many clients find somatic work complements their therapy beautifully, giving them practical tools to support the insights they're gaining with their therapist.

  • Somatic work can be particularly helpful for anxiety and panic because it teaches you to work with your nervous system responses in real-time. We'll go slowly and help you build capacity to be with intense sensations safely without triggering another episode.
